What we plan, and what we do not
Ripple Financial Planning writes two kinds of plans. Both are delivered as written documents you keep, and both start from your own figures — never from a template.
We do not manage investments, place insurance, file taxes, restructure debt, or take custody of your money. If a conversation moves into those areas, we will tell you plainly that they fall outside this practice.
Household budget engagement
A working budget built around the dates your money actually moves. We map income rhythm against fixed and irregular costs, separate the recurring from the unpredictable, and produce a monthly budget that stays legible on a phone late at night.
The engagement includes the discovery session, the written budget, and a follow-up three months later to compare the plan with what actually happened.
Emergency-fund planning engagement
A target reserve sized to what a shock actually looks like for your household — not a figure lifted from a rule of thumb. We work out what a single shock costs you, what a double shock costs you, and a staged saving path that reaches the first threshold before chasing the second.
The engagement includes the discovery session, the written emergency-fund plan with staged thresholds, and the same three-month follow-up.
Combined engagement
For households that want both pieces working together, the budget and the emergency-fund plan are written as one document so the saving path sits inside the budget rather than competing with it.
Package terms and fees
Package terms and fees are confirmed in writing ahead of the discovery session, once we know which engagement fits your household. We do not publish a price list here as a confirmed fact, because the scope varies from one household to the next. You will see the fee, and what it includes, before any payment is taken.
What you keep
Whatever engagement you choose, the written plan is yours. If you decide after the discovery session that you do not want to continue, the refund policy on this site sets out the conditions that apply.
